Job Summary
Clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize, and restock hallways, stairways, offices, food preparation areas, restrooms, and public spaces as assigned. Dust low and high areas, wipe down surfaces, remove and transport trash, and maintain clean carts and storage. Use appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions, scrub floors, change light bulbs, and perform light facility maintenance. Assist with laundry, linen removal, and replenish guest supplies. Adhere to safety policies, wear proper PPE, and report discrepancies or damage. Work full-time Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with eligibility for a $500 sign-on bonus paid in two installments after 90 and 180 days. Fluency in English and a valid driver's license are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 6 months experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes
- The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.
- Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Must pass a fingerprinting background investigation that complies with The Crime Control Act, Child Care Worker Act and the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Act
- Proof of immunization for TB, and any other immunizations and screenings designated for this contract
- Contract requires candidate to get a flu shot pre-hire and annually thereafter
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
