Job Summary
Clean and maintain hospital facilities including rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and work areas by polishing fixtures, sweeping floors, dusting equipment, and washing surfaces. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas while replenishing bathroom supplies and moving tools between departments. Perform these duties from 7:00am to 3:30pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Full-time and part-time roles available at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
