Job Summary
Clean all Operating Suites, including equipment, and maintain the OR storage room while adhering to established housekeeping guidelines. Bag and dispose of infectious waste following proper procedures for Category I tasks and hazardous materials. Perform duties during the evening shift, requiring the ability to stand or walk for five hours and lift or carry up to 55 pounds regularly. This part-time role involves pre-employment drug screening and requires a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, as not all sites are accessible via public transit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day
- Ability to lift and/or carry over up to 55 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to push/pull over up to 55 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions
