Job Summary

Conduct outpatient family medicine care at Family Health Center, managing a daily caseload of 20-25 patients across Monday-Thursday and Friday morning hours. Provide acute care coverage, including injections, skin tag removal, and breathing treatments, while participating in antibiotic stewardship and serving as a walk-in site for lab draws and imaging. Maintain a flexible schedule accommodating last-minute changes and last-minute schedule changes to meet patient needs. This role offers a base salary of $286,290 or $350,085 with a 2-year commitment, including $200,000 in medical school loan repayment and a $10,000 moving expense. Join a not-for-profit hospital employing over 3,000 staff, where you may achieve Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Required Qualifications

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice Physician
  • Must be able to cover acute care
  • Must be able to handle last minute schedule changes to meet patient needs
  • Must be able to Participate in Antibiotic Stewardship
  • Must be able to accept walk in patients who require blood draws
  • Must be able to perform Injections
  • Must be able to perform ear irrigation
  • Must be able to perform breathing treatment
  • Must be able to perform mole/skin tag removal
  • Must be able to work Office hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00a - 5:00p, Friday 8:00a - 12:00p
  • Must be able to work Call: 1:45 days (M-F) and 1:45 weekends Sat 8a - Monday 8a
  • Must be able to work Case Load of 20-25 patients per day
  • Must be able to work 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
  • Must be able to work 2-year service commitment for Medical School Loan Repayment
  • Must be able to work 2-year service commitment for Residency Stipend
  • Must be able to work 2-4 year forgiveness period for Sign on Bonus
  • Must be able to work 5% salary reduction if not yet boarded
  • Must be able to pass the post-offer physical examination
  • Must be able to pass drug test
  • Must be able to pass criminal background investigation
