Job Summary
The Hospital Liaison performs intake inquiries from Case Managers and captures all pertinent customer order information to meet coverage criteria, assists with in-hospital set-ups for home-going oxygen and other home-going modalities, and serves as a liaison between MSC and facility staff. The role responds to questions from Case Managers and referral sources within facilities, maintains open communication with patients/clients and referral sources, markets MSC’s services to Case Managers and other referral sources within designated facilities, and maintains consistent documentation with all referral sources. Requires high school diploma or GED, at least one year of medical customer service experience, strong communication and organizational abilities, and the ability to drive and lift up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalent
- One year (minimum) of progressively responsible medical customer service experience
- Knowledge and understanding of intake implications of industry change
- Excellent skill sets in communication and customer relations
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a TEAM player)
- Must be able to perform extensive driving as required for the position
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and perform setup tasks throughout the workday
- Must be able to safely operate equipment and follow all safety protocols
