Job Summary

Conduct crisis evaluations, mental status updates, and brief interventions for addiction while assisting the Program Director with assigned tasks. Address administrative concerns, staff needs, and workflow issues in real time to ensure smooth operations during the evening shift. Collaborate with hospital management to escalate urgent matters and assist with complex triage concerns using problem-solving skills. Act as a primary trainer for new crisis clinicians, providing orientation, shadowing, and ongoing mentorship to foster their growth. Oversee evening and weekend workflow by allocating MSU assignments and prioritizing initial crisis evaluations to optimize team performance. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards while supporting the creation of engaging training curriculum and materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • LMHC or LICSW
  • 2-4 years of experience in acute mental health

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations
