Hospital Contracting Account Manager

Job Summary
Negotiate and execute end-to-end hospital contracts, including renewals, amendments, and new agreements, while drafting related communications. Develop strategic relationships with hospital managed care leads and key stakeholders to influence contract outcomes and balance provider needs with plan priorities. Create positive provider relations by coordinating with Clinical, Claims, and Provider Services departments to handle inquiries and complaints. Perform financial, utilization, and market analyses to support reimbursement strategies and network planning. Actively participate in cross-functional workgroups to communicate the impact of initiatives involving network management and hospital providers. Support departmental initiatives including network expansion, regulatory changes, and strategic projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum four (4) years of hospital contracting, payer/provider negotiation, or network management experience
- Financial analysis skills
- Excel modeling skills
