Hospital Cardiology Nurse Navigator

Job Summary
Coordinate and manage the daily inpatient cardiology census and provider assignments while supporting inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular procedures. Facilitate communication between providers and hospital staff, enter physician-directed orders, schedule follow-up care, and support patient transfers and transitions of care. Serve as a key member of the hospital-based cardiology team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care. This role requires a Registered Nurse license in Georgia with three to five years of clinical experience in Cardiology. Schedule involves 3-12 hour shifts with rotating days and weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and three (3) years of clinical experience in Cardiology
- Associate Degree in Nursing with five (5) years of clinical experience in Cardiology
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia
- Working knowledge of service line
- Strong foundation in patient support programs
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Self-motivated, independent work skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed and results oriented individual
- Strong interpersonal skills
- 3-12 hr shifts
- Weekend requirements
