Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification before independently caring for patients. This role involves prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs during each shift. Full-time employment requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
