Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards while maintaining current BLS certification and a valid Physical Therapy license. Requires ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis, with prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Full-time position offering medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Six months to one year experience
