Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Perform direct patient supervision and provide indirect oversight of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Execute duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards while maintaining current BLS certification and a valid state Physical Therapy license. Requires ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive gripping, reaching, and squatting. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Ability to stand and walk during each shift
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
