Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Directly supervise patients while overseeing rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and departmental policies. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification to ensure safe care delivery. This role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and walk for prolonged periods, with bending, kneeling, and squatting as part of daily duties. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Ability to stand and walk during each shift
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
