Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Perform direct patient supervision and provide indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Maintain current BLS certification and hold a valid Physical Therapy license to ensure safe care delivery. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and walk for prolonged periods while performing duties that involve gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Ability to stand and walk during each shift
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
