Job Summary
Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level sales goals for a long-acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia in the Indianapolis, IN hospital market. Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach by coordinating efforts between sales leadership, market access, and training while adhering to all Teva compliance guidelines. Review weekly and monthly data reports to identify trends, build rapport with healthcare providers, and provide product demonstrations and in-servicing. Consult with physicians and staff to promote the product, work with specialty pharmacies to ensure availability, and collaborate with P&T committees on formulary developments. Maintain a consistent call average focusing on top target customers and manage extensive travel throughout the assigned region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Experience in the hospital setting with a detailed understanding of buy and bill, formulary placement, P&T committees, and in-services
- Valid US driver's license
- acceptable driving record
- Extensive travel throughout the assigned region, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the psychiatric therapeutic areas
- Specific experience with long-acting injectables for the treatment of schizophrenia in the hospital setting
- Experience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care
- Injectable and in-office administration experience within a mental health facility
- The ability to operate within complex settings and networks and provide customer insights effectively
- Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull through strategies as well as experience in all pertinent settings of business (Hospitals, VA's, CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice)
- Understanding of the buy-and-bill model
- Leadership skills and ability to collaborate with multiple sales teams
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
