Job Summary
Spend quality time with hospice patients through conversation, reading, or listening, and provide respite care for family members by assisting with light household tasks, meal prep, or errands. Offer emotional support to families to ease anxiety and help with non-medical duties like delivering personal items or light yardwork while respecting patient wishes and maintaining a non-judgmental environment. Participate in training and ongoing education to ensure the highest level of care as part of the patient care team. This role offers flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and daytime hours, with comprehensive orientation and guidance from staff.
