Hospice Volunteer - Aiken

Provide assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family in accordance with designated activities, including direct care, bereavement support, or administrative tasks. Deliver companionship, activities, and respite care while accurately documenting each encounter and scheduling regular visits. Communicate availability changes or patient status updates to supervisors and attend at least four in-services annually. Submit required documents timely and participate in community outreach projects. All work is performed under the supervision of an agency employee with assignments matched to experience and training.
