Job Summary
Deliver compassionate, end-of-life care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life for terminally ill patients and their families by interacting daily, listening to concerns, and performing routine procedures like range of motion exercises and ambulation assistance. Provide personal care activities including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, shaving, and dressing, while performing household services such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping. Assist in self-administered medication, report client condition changes, document all care provided, and maintain infection control practices. Work from 10pm to 6am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as part of an interdisciplinary team, communicating through verbal reports and staff meetings while maintaining confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency
- Ability to read, write and follow a written Individual Plan of Care
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with clients, staff members, agency leadership, and outside stakeholders
- Basic to intermediate computer skills

- Previous experience in nursing, direct support services or caregiver role
