Job Summary
Oversee hospice support services by managing intake, triage, admissions, float nurse support, and ancillary staff while providing direct patient care. Supervise support staff, coordinate interdisciplinary team activities, and ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Facilitate patient admission workflows, lead staff development, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain reliable transportation for travel to patient homes, facilities, and community locations. Work Monday through Friday with after-hours on-call rotation availability.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse's License
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or ability to obtain within thirty-six (36) months of hire
- Minimum four (4) years of post-education clinical experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Safety (BLS)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State
- Reliable travel to patient homes, facilities, and community locations
- Demonstrate support and adherence to the agency's Mission, Vision, and Values
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with agency policies, procedures, and practices
- Protect patient and agency information per HIPAA guidelines
- Satisfy state and agency health requirements by providing proof of immunization, declinations, or approved accommodations
- Pass criminal background and drug screenings
- Meet the physical and environmental requirements of the position
- Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs
- Complete ongoing education, policy reviews, and training be designated deadlines
- Maintain current licensure(s) and certifications(s) required for the role
- Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Be available to work as assigned or scheduled

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in program development and coordination
- Experience in home health, and hospice nursing
- Two (2) years of leadership experience in management or supervisory capacity
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) from the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages
