Job Summary
Provide spiritual care and bereavement counseling to hospice patients and families, meeting spiritual needs and delivering counseling aligned with patients' beliefs; assess patient, family, and caregiver spiritual and bereavement needs; identify interventions and goals for the patient care plan; participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team to ensure services align with the care plan; work in home, long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings; pursue appropriate credentials (Master of Divinity or relevant BA/BSW/MSW pathway) and maintain licensure/ordination as applicable; benefits include compensation, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Divinity (or ordination/licensure in lieu), endorsed in good standing
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW/MSW supervised)
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, counseling or related field
