Job Summary
On-call Hospice RN responsible for coordinating and providing direct home and facility-based hospice care during weekend on-call shifts; duties include coordinating care, comfort and symptom management, medication management, DME needs, admissions and discharges, proper documentation, and collaboration with the hospice interdisciplinary team and facilities. Requires Ohio-licensed RN, CPR certification, valid driver’s license and insurance; night shift with weekend on-call schedule, flexible full-time/part-time/per diem arrangement; you do not carry phones—triage nurse handles calls and you respond when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification
- Holds valid driver's license and current drivers insurance coverage
