Job Summary
Hospice RN role in Lynchburg, VA (PRN). Provide comprehensive hospice nursing care to patients and families, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing process; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team; perform therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures; re-assess and update care plans; pronouncement of death and family support; maintain patient records and care plans; requires RN licensure in-state, CPR certification, and a valid driver�s license. Flexible hours and supportive team environment offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice
- Maintains a current CPR certification.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and general public
- Valid driver�s license and proof of insurance is required
