Job Summary
The Hospice RN is responsible for coordinating patient and family care, developing and updating care plans, providing skilled nursing, and educating caregivers. The role involves serving as an advocate for patients, ensuring appropriate use of medications and supplies, and monitoring the recertification process. Participation in team meetings and providing bereavement support may also be required. Candidates must have a valid nursing license and at least two years of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state
- A minimum of two years nursing experience in an acute-care hospital nursing in either medical, surgical or oncology unit or other commensurate experience
