Job Summary
Lead hospice operations as RN Executive Director, overseeing administrative and supervisory personnel to support clinicians and patient care; maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships; delegate responsibilities and monitor day-to-day administration, compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements; develop and implement administrative policies and procedures; determine staffing needs and authorize appointments in collaboration with the VP of Operations; oversee personnel policies; negotiate and monitor contracts with community providers for service and program compliance; bring strong hospice/home health experience and healthcare policy knowledge to guide program administration and team development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program strongly preferred
- Minimum Associate degree in business, healthcare or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a hospice or home health setting
- Experienced in program administration including knowledge of healthcare policies and reimbursement practices
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate auto insurance
