Job Summary
Establish standards of practice for staff nurses based on American Nurses Association guidelines and assess patients with varying health severity. Advise on modalities for wellness needs including medication, nutrition, and technical treatments while teaching positive self-care activities. Work cooperatively with patients, caregivers, and ancillary staff under Clinical Manager supervision. Requires current RN licensure in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, BLS certification, and a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Schedule involves 24-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday with compensation for 32 hours and includes travel to Southcoast Health at Home in Fairhaven, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school
- Minimum one-year hospital medical/surgical or other relevant nursing experience
- Current RN Licensure in Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Evidence of current CPR certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- 24hrs shift schedule
- Every Friday-Sunday shift schedule
- Travel requirement
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs
