Hospice RN Administrator I

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations for an assigned hospice location, directing interdisciplinary teams and managing clinical quality, financial performance, and sustainable census expansion. Develop and implement policies in collaboration with the Governing Body, handle human resources, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accrediting agencies. Monitor patient care quality, process emergency calls, and manage office operations including budgeting, supply costs, and vendor contracts. Conduct performance evaluations, resolve disciplinary situations, and maintain accurate documentation of incidents and grievances. May perform routine patient home visits and participate in an on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum one year management/supervisory experience
- Two or more years' experience in hospice/home care
- Meets all state-specific requirements for the Administrator role
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment
- CPR Certification
- Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license
- Strong understanding of hospice regulations, compliance, and Medicare conditions of participation
- Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and interdisciplinary operations
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for patients and families
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Three to five years' healthcare sales/ management experience
- Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting
