Job Summary
Respond to immediate care needs of hospice patients and families during nights and weekends, completing routine and as-needed visits across the Overland Park region. Triage urgent situations and collaborate with physicians for symptom management while working closely with the interdisciplinary team and caregivers. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold regulatory standards through ongoing training and quality initiatives. Requires Missouri RN license, hospice experience preferred, and valid driver's license. Full-time on-call overnights and weekends with 7 days on/7 days off schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Missouri RN License or Compact License
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High-level organization, time management, and emotional resilience
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently in home settings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be available for On-Call Overnights & Weekends
- 7 Days On / 7 Days Off schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Hospice nursing experience preferred
- Overland Park hospice experience a plus
