Job Summary
Hospice Registered Nurse on-call for weekend nights, coordinating and delivering direct care to hospice patients in home and nursing facility settings. The role runs on a weekend night schedule (10:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.) with flexible full-time/part-time/per diem options. You do not carry phones; a triage nurse handles calls and you respond when needed. Responsibilities include after-hours coordination and direct care focusing on comfort, symptom and medication management, DME needs, admissions, and discharges, with documentation and coordination of care between hospice interdisciplinary team and facilities. Requires Ohio nursing licensure, CPR, a valid driver''s license and auto insurance, strong time management, self-direction, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA; Night shift; On-call weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification required
- Holds valid driver's license and current drivers insurance coverage
