Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Full Time DAY

Job Summary
Inpatient RN provides professional nursing care at Hulitar Hospice Center, coordinating care from admission through discharge for patients and families. Responsibilities include developing and initiating care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and primary health professionals; regular reassessment and adjustment of care; administering medications and treatments as prescribed; thorough documentation (written/electronic) while ensuring confidentiality; recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition; facilitating ADLs and promoting self-sufficiency; educating patients and families on care techniques; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team; and precepting two to three shifts per week during the first two to three months. Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts (7:00am-7:30pm) with every third weekend requirement. BSN preferred; 1-3 years of related experience and strong assessment/communication skills are desired; hospice care experience is a plus.
