Job Summary
Hospice Registered Nurse PRN provides routine and emergency assessments as part of an interdisciplinary team (IDT); delivers clinical and psycho-social services per plan of care, coordinates case management, and educates patients and families on care, disease process, symptom control, and wound care. The role supports admissions, communicates changes in care plans, and participates in after-hours on-call coverage; requires flexible scheduling to meet agency staffing needs and to provide home-based hospice care while maintaining documentation standards. Active RN licensure, CPR certification, and 1+ year nursing experience preferred; degree in nursing (Associate or Bachelor's) required.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state(s) of employment
- Current CPR certification
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)
