Job Summary
Hospice Registered Nurse responsible for in-home patient care within Lawrence and surrounding Framingham-area communities. Develops and initiates individualized plans of care, conducts regular re-evaluations with patients and families, administers medications as prescribed, maintains accurate clinical documentation, and collaborates with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, high-quality hospice services. Requires nursing degree, active RN licensure, 2+ years of nursing experience (geriatrics preferred), proficiency with EMR, valid driver’s license, and BLS CPR certification. On-site responsibilities include on-call duties, coordinating equipment and services, supervising ancillary staff, and participating in quality improvement activities. Schedule is typically Monday–Friday with day shifts; salary range $78k–$95k with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- 2+ years' nursing experience (geriatrics desirable)
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
- Maintain current BLS CPR certification
- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle
