Job Summary
Hospice Registered Nurse on-call for weekends in Illinois (Deerfield/Northbrook/Des Plaines/Glenview area). Provide clinical nursing care, assess physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors affecting patient and family needs, initiate intervention with interdisciplinary team, coordinate care with attending physician and other staff, perform clinical pronouncement of death, and maintain accurate care plans and progress notes. Requires RN license, CPR certification, and valid driver’s license. Up to $97K annually. Weekend hours: Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM–12:30 PM. Mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
- Possession of a current license to practice in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse
- Demonstrated skill in nursing practices and clinical judgments
- Ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles
- Must possess current CPR Certification
- Valid driver�s license and proof of insurance
