Job Summary
Hospice RN on-call weekends only for Illinois communities (Deerfield, Northbrook, Des Plaines, Glenview). Responsibilities include obtaining data on physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors affecting patient/family needs, initiating interdisciplinary coordination, communicating with attending physician and staff, performing clinical death pronouncement, and maintaining accurate care plans and progress notes. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
- Current license to practice in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse
- Demonstrated skill in nursing practices and clinical judgments
- Ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles
- Must possess current CPR Certification
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
