Job Summary
HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - Full Time role covering Onslow, Carteret, Jones, and Craven Counties. Responsibilities include applying nursing theories to patient care, documenting care per reimbursement guidelines, coordinating physical care with family and Hospice team, communicating with patients/families and agency personnel, participating in IDT meetings and quality reviews. Requires current RN licensure, nursing education from an approved program, two years of clinical nursing experience, and hospice experience preferred; CPR certification; willingness to travel and available for weekend/evening/holiday call assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in state of practice
- successful completion of nursing education from an approved school of nursing
- two years of clinical nursing experience
- at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred
- continuing education 12 hours annually
- CPR certification
- travel as required including weekends/evenings/holiday call assignments
