HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE

Job Summary
Provide nursing care and documentation that meets reimbursement guidelines; coordinate physical care of the patient with family, patient, physician, and Hospice team; communicate with patients/families at all levels and with agency personnel; attend IDT meetings and participate in quality reviews; requires RN licensure, nursing education from an approved school, two years of clinical nursing experience with hospice experience preferred, and CPR certification; 12 hours of continuing education annually; travel may be required; weekend and on-call assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in state of practice
- successful completion of nursing education from an approved school of nursing
- two years of clinical nursing experience
- at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred
- CPR certification
