Job Summary
HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE (RN) needed for Per Diem coverage in Watauga County, NC. Provide nursing care and documentation that meets reimbursement guidelines; coordinate physical care with family, patient, physician, and the Hospice team; communicate with patients/families and with agency personnel; participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews. Requires current RN licensure, nursing education from an approved school, and two years of clinical nursing experience with hospice experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in state of practice
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing
- Two years clinical nursing experience
- At least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred
- CPR certification
