Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients/significant others in a hospice/home-care setting, including completing evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the care plan; maintain timely documentation; administer medications and IV care; assist with turning patients every 2 hours; follow policies/procedures; ensure continuity of patient care and coordinate with licensed practical nurses, clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed staff; requires physical ability to assist patients and lift up to 100 pounds as needed; requires valid nursing license in TX and BLS certification; roles may be part-time, per diem, or full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in Texas (TX) with current TX registration and in good standing
