Job Summary
Provide and coordinate hospice nursing care to homebound patients, steering the interdisciplinary hospice team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Deliver comprehensive nursing care, conduct thorough assessments, plan and implement care, manage pain and symptoms, ensure patient safety, and educate patients, families, and caregivers about death and dying. Care delivery occurs in the community or at the patient’s residence; requires CO RN license and nursing education. Preferred qualifications include hospice or oncology experience and CHPN certification. Strong clinical assessment, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited nursing school graduate
- Valid CO RN license
- At least one year in med-surg, emergency or critical care nursing
