Job Summary
Hospice Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients and significant others in hospice, coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with clinical procedures, performing telephone triage, and participating in patient and family teaching. Directs licensed practical nurses, clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel. Shifts include 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am with immediate hire.; focus on end-of-life care, patient and family education, and coordination of care within a hospice team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in Texas with current TX registration and in good standing
- EMT License and EMT Experience required
- Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references
