Hospice Registered Nurse (58223)

Provide home-based care to patients with six months or less to live, focusing on quality of life. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to carry out the patient's plan of care by performing assessments, monitoring vitals, evaluating breathing, and administering prescribed medications. Educate families on prognosis, care plan changes, and hospice goals while ensuring accessibility of medical equipment and supplies. Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patient's mind, body, spirit, and family. Requires an active Wisconsin RN license, one year of nursing experience, CPR certification, and knowledge of home health regulations.
