Job Summary
Lead the Council Bluffs hospice team by creating, implementing, and evaluating strategic plans while developing and maintaining professional relationships to establish referral sources. Manage location budgets and oversee hiring, coaching, and retention of staff through an interdisciplinary approach. Ensure exceptional patient care and efficient operations by cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and staff growth. Requires two years of leadership experience and two years in the hospice industry. Join Care Initiatives, Iowa's largest non-profit single operator of nursing homes, to expand our services into the Council Bluffs area.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years in a leadership position
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, business, healthcare administration or related field
- Two (2) years experience in the hospice industry
- Active RN license
- Experience interacting with physicians and health care providers related to patient care
