Job Summary
Hospice PRN Registered Nurse (RN) provides delivery of patient care, conducts nursing assessments, develops and updates plans of care, educates patients and families, and ensures communication across the IDG. Maintains infection control practices, supports interdisciplinary team conferences, and ensures accurate clinical documentation while maintaining licensure and CEU requirements. Requires active RN license (multistate home-state), CPR, and hospice/palliative care experience. CHPN preferred; Diploma/Associate degree required with Bachelor’s preferred. On-site role at Fort Mill, SC with PRN schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A Diploma or associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- A current, active, and unrestricted multistate RN license (NLC) is required.
- Current CPR certification; CHPN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year related experience for inpatient units (IPU) and 2 years for other nursing positions; experience in direct care of patients with life-limiting illnesses (hospice/palliative care, family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics, oncology, home health care, medical-surgical) preferred.
