Hospice PRN Registered Nurse (RN)

Oversee and supervise total patient care from admission through discharge, including administering medications, updating doctor orders, and monitoring patient status to ensure the plan of care meets individual needs. Provide one-on-one end-of-life care, counsel families on disease progression, and advocate for patient preferences while managing multi-disciplinary continuity. Complete all clinical documentation per agency and Medicare guidelines, train nurse aides and LPNs, and attend mandatory in-service training. Work autonomously within state scope of practice, with a preference for acute care experience and hospice background.
