Job Summary
Hospice Physician needed for Northwell Health's Hospice Care Network at the Mary Ann Tully Hospice Inn in Melville, NY. Open to BC/BE Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Palliative Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine physicians, with preference for Board Certified Geriatric and/or Palliative Medicine training. Role is part-time with base compensation range across specialties; expectations include providing comprehensive end-of-life care in a serene, non-hospital setting and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Medical license in NY or eligibility for NY license
- Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine and/or Palliative Medicine preferred
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Palliative Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Part-time clinical role
- End-of-life care experience preferred
- Hospice or palliative care experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
