Job Summary
Office Manager for a hospice branch responsible for coordinating all office activities, serving as the branch’s HR designee, handling payroll, supervising Clinical Care Coordinators, providing IT support, and supporting Billing & Claims. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, HR/o HRIS and EMR data entry, coordinating prehire/background checks, onboarding and new-hire orientation, maintaining employee databases and records, addressing benefits/payroll inquiries, and participating in community activities. Requires hospice/homecare EMR knowledge (HCHB EMR), healthcare administration experience, HR experience, ability to travel up to 5%, proficiency with MS Office and Google Drive, and strong organizational/communications skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years healthcare administrative experience; hospice experience preferred
- 1-year HR experience preferred
- HCHB EMR experience preferred; Hospice/Home Care experience preferred
- Basic understanding of Fair Labor Standards Act
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Drive
- Valid driver’s license and car for travel
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff
