Hospice Nursing Assistant

Job Summary
Deliver patient care by assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, elimination, and mobility. Perform sterile wound care, ostomy management, and tracheostomy maintenance for advanced patients. Conduct housekeeping duties and maintain clean, stocked patient rooms. Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and special case reviews to coordinate care plans. Ensure accurate clinical documentation in accordance with licensure standards and maintain current certifications. Maintain professional relationships with team members and external agencies while managing time effectively to respond to patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred, plus training/certification in related field required
- Certified Nursing Assistant; maintain current listing status required
- NA – must be in good standing with NC Department of Health and Human Services
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- Maintains current professional licensure
- Maintains CPR certification
- Maintains CEU requirements
