Job Summary
The Hospice Nurse provides nursing and supportive care for terminally ill patients and their families. Responsibilities include identifying patient/family needs, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, evaluating responses to interventions, and documenting care accurately. The role requires strong time management and interpersonal skills, knowledge of infection control practices, and ability to use or learn EMR systems. Candidates must possess an ADN or BSN and have a valid nursing license. Physical demands include the ability to walk and lift patients regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Current MD registered nursing license
- Two years of nursing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Nursing experience in hospice or similar environments
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Experience in patient and family education
