Job Summary
Coordinates the music therapy treatment program with other therapy programs treatment provided by other treatment team members; develops a general music education program for residents/patients; maintains a music library, and necessary materials, equipment, and supplies; participates in the formulation of interdisciplinary treatment plans; provides in-service training for other staff members; maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work; maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified as a music therapist, if required by state law
- Holds a professional license in music therapy, if required by state law.
