Job Summary
Assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide music therapy sessions to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs of individuals facing end-of-life and their families. Manage pain, reduce anxiety, and improve mood for patients lacking social interaction, experiencing uncontrolled pain, or facing communication problems due to physical or intellectual impairments. Deliver sessions to those seeking spiritual support or concrete ways to cope with end-of-life challenges. Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program
- Certification Board for Music Therapist (CBMT)
- Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance
