Job Summary
Full-time Intake Nurse to support the Philadelphia, PA market on a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities include answering phones and receiving referral/intake information, completing referral/intake forms and routing them for admission, assisting in scheduling appropriately skilled personnel, checking Medicare coverage and verification of benefit period, and inputting scheduling information. Requires high school diploma or GED, LPN license in PA, computer literacy, strong communication skills, and at least 3 years of customer service and EMR experience. Office-based role with standard in-office duties and use of PC and multi-line telephone; benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience in a Home Health Care or Hospice setting preferred
- Must be computer literate and able maintain simple records
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Must have at least 3 years of Customer service experience
- Must have at least 3 years of EMR System experience
