Job Summary
Direct, supervise, and evaluate all aspects of hospice nursing care provided in the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, including oversight of CNAs and Unit Secretaries. Manage direction, coordination, and evaluation of care within Clinical Services Department policies. Requires current Kentucky RN licensure, one year of nursing experience, and BSN or CHPN preferred. Knowledge of hospice or palliative care and electronic medical record tools strongly encouraged. Self-scheduling 36-hour week with weekend rotation. Located at Norton Healthcare Pavilion in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- RN with current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky
- One year of nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- CHPN encouraged
- Knowledge of Hospice and or palliative care preferred
- Use of technology-based tools, including electronic medical record, strongly preferred
